SalaryInternal Accountant required. Our client, a distinguished professional services firm with a remarkable history spanning over 100 years, is in search of a highly motivated and experienced Internal Accountant to join their small finance team in early June 2024.
As an Internal Accountant, you'll be a key player in managing our clients' finances. Joining their close-knit finance team, your expertise will contribute to the success of their historic firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management accounts for company and group companies
- Consolidated management accounts
- Cashflow and budgets and monitoring
- Bookkeeping
- Payroll for companies in group
- Bank payment run pre authorisation
- Managing finance function
- Reporting to Board and Managing partner
- Liaison with external auditors
- Dealing with certain suppliers and renewals of insurance
- Some Internal administration
Requirements:
- Proven industry experience
- Relevant qualifications such as ACCA and ACA
- Motivated, detail oriented, with a strong financial insight
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards
- Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a related role
Remuneration:
- £30,000 - £45,000 (Dependant on experience)
- Flexible working hours 3 days in office 2 from home
- Cover core 8 hours
- Start time between 8 - 10am
- Finish time between 4 - 6pm
- 23 days holiday with 3 days at Christmas (negotiable)
