About The Role

Are you a seasoned audit or assurance professional who’s passionate about quality, is not afraid to challenge the status quo and able to interrogate complex, technical performance & financial data in a multi-million pound business?

An opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Internal Audit Manager to head up our programme of outsourced Internal Audit programme, owning our risk & assurance and policy framework and robust system of internal controls. You’ll ensure we have robust assurance on business-critical information, providing risk-based and objective assurance of compliance with all relevant law and regulations affecting the social housing sector.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Governance & Corporate Compliance within the Chief Executive directorate, you’ll help drive our culture of continuous improvement, risk management, best practice and good governance.

About You

As our Internal Audit Manager you’ll deliver a fast-paced role in a busy team. You’ll have considerable scope to apply your experience and make your mark in a high-performing organisation. With first-rate communication skills and unparalleled attention to detail, you’ll triangulate and scrutinise our performance data across a range of sources. You can think and act independently and challenge our existing practices. You’ll also use your clear negotiation and influencing skills, working collaboratively with leads across our business.

You’ll hold a professional qualification - ACCA, ACA, CMIIA, IAA or equivalent, and have data analytics experience. You’re someone who has a high level of integrity, is confident working autonomously, proactive and driven.

You’ll need a flexible approach to work, as well as a full UK driving licence and the use of a car insured for business use.
