Creative Support, a national organisation with charitable status and Registered Social Landlord, is dedicated to providing person-centered care, support, and housing to individuals across England. We're seeking a proactive and skilled individual to join us as our Internal Audit Team Leader at our vibrant Stockport head office.
As the Internal Audit Team Leader, you will lead a dynamic team dedicated to upholding the financial integrity of the organisation. You will have the opportunity to use your skills and expertise to directly improve the lives of adults receiving social care, including those with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions.
In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with our Company Secretary and Head of Internal Audit to oversee our talented Internal Audit team. Together, we'll ensure that our national care services uphold the highest standards of financial governance.
You will spearhead initiatives, shape strategy and enhance financial efficiency through departmental collaboration, comprehensive policy reviews, and proactive identification of improvement opportunities. Your meticulous management of audit records, internal registers, and critical financial incident logs will underscore a culture of transparency and accountability across Creative Support.
Your contributions will impact the success of the organisation, and the lives of our service users. This work will be recognised by stakeholders at all levels as you deliver regular reports on action plan progress, investigatory outcomes, and management insights.
