Internal Sales Assistant

We are actively recruiting for an Internal Sales Assistant to join our clients site based in Stockton, they are the largest provider of industrial, medical and special gases in the UK and Ireland.
What You Will Enjoy Doing
• You will provide ‘best in class’ customer service to all collect customers
• Furthermore, you will achieve gas and equipment product growth, while maximising margins and identifying opportunities to achieve sales targets
• You will ensure that the Gas & Gear core product ranges and gases are well stocked and customer back orders are fulfilled will be part of your job
• You will open new accounts and retain existing ones
• In addition, you enthusiastically participate in national promotions
• You will be improving the internal merchandising of the store, to ensure all local and national campaign material is professionally displayed and promoted. Take pride in store husbandry
• You will conduct local in store demonstrations to assist sales activity
• Also, you will deputise for the store manager when needed
• You will ensure the site is fully secure both day and night
• You will actively promote safe working practices and information to customers, staff, visitors and contractors on site
• Additionally, you will assist the store manager and take responsibility for all internal compliance, including SHEQ, cash, stock, credit and ordering
• You will control costs and identify/recommend savings
• As a highly visible part of the company, you will actively re-enforce and promote the brand and values

• Also, you have good understanding of computerised systems and an adopter of new technology
• You have capability to be trained to use Forklift Truck and other equipment
• You are confident and able to work to targets
• Furthermore, you are proactive and able to work without supervision
• You have physical fitness and manual handling skills
• You are highly organised
• And finally, you must have a high level of personal Integrity
Requirements
UK Cat B Driving Licence as some travelling to other sites will be required on occasion
Shifts
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
