About the opportunity:

We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a well-established and highly successful organisation specialising in all aspects of marine safety.

We are presenting an exciting opportunity for a confident and proactive Internal Sales Coordinator to join their busy and supportive team based at the Southampton office.

As the Internal Sales Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our international customer base and play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships whilst providing a top-level service. You will be responsible for managing customer enquiries and resolving issues over the phone and via email.

Supporting various teams across the wider business, you will be responsible for uploading sales orders and quotations to the central computer system, monitoring stock levels and providing technical support and assistance as required.

The successful candidate will illustrate a mature approach and be able to work in a fast-paced enviroment where on time delivery to commercial and leisure customers is vital.

Requirements

Requirements:

·        Previous experience of working in a customer focused environment.

·        A strong administration background.

·        A confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner.

·        Ability to use own initiative and take a proactive approach to work.

·        A natural problem solver who can collaborate with internal teams to identify and address customer needs.

·        Excellent organisational and time management skills.

·        A team player with the ability to multitask and support other areas of the business as needed.  

·        Computer literate with proficiency across all Microsoft Office packages.
