Internal Sales Representative (Consumables & Print)

The role

Responsible for gaining new business within the large format consumable and print market as well as processing customer and supplier orders.

Your Responsibilities

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
• Understand customer needs and requirements
• Route qualified machine sales opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
• Close supplies and print sales and achieve monthly/quarterly targets
• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest, particularly in our own range of media and supplies
• Maintain and expand your database of prospects
• General sales administration duties; placing orders, invoicing etc
• Cover colleagues customers when they are out of the office

We are looking for:

• Desire to work in a sales environment
• Strong phone presence as will be required to dial dozens of calls per day
• Can-do approach and enthusiastic manner
• Proficient with Excel / Word / Powerpoint / Outlook or similar
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
• Educated to a minimum of A-Level Standard
