Experienced Internal Sales Representative required to join a globally operating technical manufacturing company who have their UK plant based in South Nottingham.
As an Internal Sales Representative you will work remotely from home, but ideally live within a reasonably distance of Nottingham so you can go into the office occasionally or work on a more regular hybrid basis if you prefer.
You will be managing approx. 250 – 300 customer accounts that you will retain and grow where possible. These accounts are based mainly in the Northern hemisphere in UK, Scandinavia, Ireland, Middle East and Africa.
Experience is required of selling and managing customer accounts from an engineering / technical background.

Role Duties:
- Identify new opportunities within customer accounts
- Create, monitor and revise lead generation to generate a sales opportunity pipeline
- Provide technical and commercial input to sales support team for quote generation and ensure thorough follow-up on quotes
- Follow territory management strategies and proactively communicate and build relationships with key purchasing, engineering, and relevant contacts
- Work with the sales support specialists to prepare reports on customer accounts, sales opportunities, and accomplishments within the company CRM system
Internal Sales Representative required qualifications and experience.
- 4 years + sales experience in a B2B environment
- Ideally hold a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy
- Ability to understand and sell technical products and solutions
- Able to make decisions consistent with business plans and strategies
- Experience of using a CRM system (ideally Salesforce)
