Their rental product portfolio is focused on high-quality premium products, typically with high unit values, operating n several related markets, primarily within the UK but with a growing European presence. Their rental portfolio consists of over 22,500 assets, including commercial vehicles, trailers, buses, coaches, sweepers, and materials handling equipment.
Role OverviewAs an Internal Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in driving sales and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, managing relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a fast-paced environment that requires a proactive and outgoing personality.
Job Duties- Handle inbound and outbound sales calls, addressing customer inquiries and providing product information
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met
- Identify sales opportunities and promote the company's rental product portfolio
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system
- Qualify leads from the website and inbound telephone calls
- Prior telesales experience in a customer-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service
- Outgoing personality and thrive in a high-energy/fast-paced environment
- Highly organised and adaptable to change
- Ability to think on your feet in a conversation and confidently ask and answer questions
- Excellent planning and organising skills to effectively manage own time
- Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
- A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- Proven experience in telesales and customer service
- Good understanding of logistics and supply chain operations
- Familiarity with sales techniques and strategies
- Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Higher education qualifications in Business, Sales, or a related field
- Additional certifications or training in sales or customer service
This role is based in Swalwell, North East England. As an Internal Sales Representative, you will primarily work in an office environment, handling sales calls and utilising computer systems. The role may require occasional travel for customer meetings or industry events.
The position is full-time, and the working hours are expected to be within standard business hours, Monday to Friday. However, occasional flexibility may be required to accommodate customer needs or business demands.
