SalaryFor over 40 years my client has been distributing high quality plumbing, heating and bathroom products to Plumbers Merchants and Bathroom Retailers across Northern Ireland. They have an excellent reputation for offering great aftersales service and product knowledge to trade professionals and can offer reliable product delivery from their substantial stock holdings.
They now seek to fill an Internal Sales Support role on a full-time permanent basis to help support the growth and long-term plans of the business.
Role Entails:
- Processing telephone and email orders.
- Generate sales quotations, sales orders, delivery dockets, invoices and statements.
- Create purchase orders for one-off / special sales orders.
- Scanning Proof of Delivery dockets and uploading into Trax system.
- Create, review and share sales data Field Sales Representatives and Sales Office team.
- Calculate daily sales and inform all other sales staff via email.
- Outbound telephone and email sales – promoting existing and new products, special offers and discontinued stock.
- Upselling on telephone calls and maximising the value of the orders.
- Liaise with customers to inform them of any price discrepancies on orders, stock availability issues and offer a suitable alternative product where necessary.
- Internal Sales Support to the Field Sales Representatives.
- Provide after Sales Support to customers, contractors, and end users.
- Represent the company at trade shows and marketing events.
Requirements:
- Pleasant and professional telephone manner.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to use your own initiative and make informed decisions.
- Experience of plumbing and bathroom products a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- A desire to learn about our products and systems.
Client is offering a starting salary of £22,000 to £28,000 dependant on experience, Up to 3k per annum Sales Bonus. 28 days holiday, Company pension, Education Support Scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, Opportunities to Progress. Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm, Friday – 3.30pm. Own transport an advantage, Offices based outside Carrick/Kilroot.
