Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers regarding technical inquiries, product specifications, and application-related questions.
2. Application Analysis: Evaluate customer requirements and propose appropriate pump solutions that align with the specific needs of various projects and applications.
3. Solution Development: Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to design customized pumping solutions that meet customer specifications and industry standards.
4. Proposal Preparation: Prepare and submit technical proposals, including system designs, quotes, and specifications for the customers' pump requirements.
5. Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of Caprari's product portfolio, features, and capabilities to effectively present the benefits of our solutions to customers.
6. Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical issues, warranty claims, and other customer concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
7. Product Testing and Validation: Assist in product testing and validation activities to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.
8. Training: Conduct training sessions for sales teams and internal staff on product applications, features, and technical specifications.
9. Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, application guides, and manuals to support the sales and customer support teams.
10. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for product and process improvement, and work with the engineering team to implement enhancements.
Requirements:
1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in applications engineering, technical support, or a similar role within the pumps or related industry.
2. Pumping Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of pump technologies, fluid dynamics, and pumping systems design principles.
3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
4. Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide creative and practical solutions.
5. Customer-Oriented: A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support.
6. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable to evolving customer needs and changing project requirements.
8. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools for pump selection and system design advantageous.
9. Travel: Occasional travel may be required to support customer meetings, industry events, and training sessions
