INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTS MANAGER

This role requires a strategic and detail-oriented International Accounts Manager to lead our Accounting & Finance team. The successful candidate must be an adept qualified accountant with hands-on experience in grant accounting, deferred income, and donor financial audits in the Not For Profit sector.

Description

• Lead and manage the international finance team.
• Develop and implement effective financial strategies, controls, systems, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and regulations across all operations.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team.
• Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all fiscal reporting.
• Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.

Profile

A successful International Accounts Manager should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an International Accounts Manager or similar role within the Not For Profit sector.
• Strong understanding of finance law and regulatory standards.
• Strong knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data.
• Proven ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
