Introduction:

Boeing is seeking an experienced International Payroll Operations Lead to join the Global Payroll and Timekeeping team in Bristol, UK or Amsterdam, NL.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads International Payroll team and Payroll vendor management to ensure accurate and timely payroll processes
  • Teams with other Boeing organizations (e.g. Human Resources, Compensation and Benefits, Business Support Managers in region) to address and support cross-organizational payroll process
  • Supports cross-functional teams to enhance existing payroll and timekeeping processes and tools
  • Provides guidance and resolve payroll inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions
  • Analyzes and helps interpret sophisticated, policies and payroll per in country regulatory requirements
  • Ensures and maintains compliance, by improving internal controls, guidelines to regulatory requirements
  • Leads and coordinates simplification, standardization and automation payroll process opportunities
  • Serves as organizational point of contact for special project

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in handling Payroll operations with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and global service-oriented environment
  • Managing Payroll process improvements via implemented standardization and system solutions
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving with the ability to process information quickly and make actionable recommendations
  • Expertise working with various systems and applications (preferred experience in Workday module for configurations / integrations)
  • Working collaboratively and effectively with a large range of stakeholders
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple work streams over parallel timelines
  • Project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field
  • Experience of leading a team and/or a project
  • Experience of leading or managing and using data to support business strategy
  • Experience of leading transformational change across an organization or equivalent experience

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Work Authorisation: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the Netherlands or the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
