Job description

The role of Inventory Controller is to ensure the smooth movement of goods according to clients needs, using inventory management tools.

Client Details

Our client is a FMCG business based in Battersea, they have a significant presence in the market and are renowned for their commitment to excellence and high-quality products.

Description

  • Managing and overseeing inventory control processes (Sage 200 & Excel)

  • Developing strategies for effective inventory management.

  • Working closely with the sales and marketing teams to forecast demand.

  • Ensuring that inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand.

  • Implementing improvements to existing operational procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Managing relationships with suppliers and vendors.

  • Overseeing stock takes and reconciling inventory records.

  • Monitoring and reporting on inventory status to senior management.

Profile

A successful Inventory Controller should have:

  • Experience in inventory management within the FMCG industry

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Proficiency with Sage & Excel

Job Offer

  • £30,000-£40,000 DOE
