Day to Day Duties
- Run inventory report checks between the ERP and WMS systems to ensure the stock levels are accurate at both ends.
- Provide basic analysis to support the maintenance of Optimal Inventory levels i.e ABC and turns analysis.
- Provide regular and ad hoc reporting as required.
- Work with Product Managers and Sales teams on the timely consumption of Slow, Aged and Obsolete stock.
- Execute stock counts and audits.
- Support consolidation and stock allocations.
- Carry out inventory reconciliation across all physical warehouse locations.
- Analyse root causes of inventory issues and provide resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with the in-force cycle and end of year stock count policies across our warehouse estate.
- Investigate all inventory discrepancies and enter all adjustments into the ERP system and complete all records.
- Review, investigate and process all physical integrated inventory adjustments in the the current control policy.
- Report on inventory KPI’s such as slow moving/dead stock, shrinkage, and damages for each physical warehouse location.
- Support the procurement and purchasing team by transferring inventory as required between physical warehouse locations.
- Work closely with supply planning to plan any manual repack/ rework jobs with the warehouse team.
- Monitor the ERP alert inbox throughout the day.
- Investigate and resolve any errors received from the ERP alert system related to inventory.
- Other duties as required.
Essential Skills
- Experience within an FMCG operations environment.
- Clear and practical understanding of the Supply Chain end to end.
- Experience of using a Tier 1 or 2 ERP system. (Microsoft Dynamics a plus).
- Good understanding of process flows and inventory management.
- Data analysis: collating, analysing and reporting results and trends.
- Analytical and methodical approach with an attention to detail.
- Pro-active problem solver.
