The client is an international fund manager looking to add an Investment Operations Associate to their branch in the City of London. They are a respected financial services provider with over $30 Billion AUM.
Description
- Own and enhance the Order Management System, implementing efficient workflows for investment strategies.
- Perform portfolio reconciliations for Portfolio Managers and provide trading support for Senior Analysts.
- Manage secured external lending operations, monitor daily cashflows, and enhance client relationships.
- Reconcile company bank accounts, oversee fund payment runs, and handle external counterparty invoice payments.
- Assist with back and middle office processes, including pricing and valuation, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Participate in project work and contribute to the development of new initiatives.
Profile
The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience in operations or a related field, or graduates with a background in finance, economics, or accounting. They should possess strong teamwork, communication, and PC skills, coupled with a genuine interest in developing a career within fund management.
