The Role
This role will be the first Product Marketing role that sits within the Product Management team.
The individual will work closely with the Product Managers, Investment team, Marketing team and Sales team to deliver strong marketing collateral and create marketing strategies for our core products.
It is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to make a meaningful contribution and gain first-hand experience of working across a range of products and investment strategies.
The Product Marketing Manager will be involved in our work with both retail and institutional products (with the majority initially being retail).
They will be involved in the creation of collateral during new product launches, updating and improving existing product collateral and also working with the different departments to see how we can improve our literature suite.
This role would be well suited to a proactive individual with 4-10 years’ work experience. The right candidate will have strong attention to detail, organisational skills, be deadline oriented and have the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities will include:
- This is a highly visible role, which will entail working with the Partners of the business, on multiple projects.
- Working with Marketing, Sales, Investment and other teams across the business to assist with the marketing of our existing and new products.
- Helping to manage and contribute to the creation of tailored, persuasive and high-quality sales documents and other collateral for various new and existing products and investment proposals – covering both retail and institutional investors.
- Carrying out market mapping exercises to support product development activities – in particular, considering new areas of where we could improve how we market our products and how we communicate with our existing investors.
- Support the product team in producing competitor analysis reports, with the Product Marketing Manager focussing on our competitor’s marketing of their products. The analysis will be presented to interested parties, including Sales and senior management where applicable.
- Assisting with the preparation of Product Marketing strategies.
Skills / Knowledge
- Educated to degree standard, preferably in business/economics/marketing/legal-related subjects but not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A desire to learn about the business and product range, and to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Intermediate level proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Previous Product Marketing experience from asset or wealth management would be very beneficial
