Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a growing business in Halifax who are recruiting a Job Costing/Invoicing Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time and permanent position. The suitable candidate will enjoy a challenge, solving issues, and has a methodical approach. You will assist in all aspects of invoicing and costing all sub-contractors and ensuring labour and products are correctly priced and invoiced.
Location: Halifax
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
Salary: Annual Salary + Monthly Bonus
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare job sheets and calculate material costs based on agreed client rates and margins
- Invoice designated clients within specified timeframes
- Verify all sub-contractor invoices against guidelines and the PO system
- Enter sub-contractor invoices into the job costing system
- Ensure accuracy in calculations, including VAT and CIS
- Communicate directly with sub-contractors regarding job sheet and material prices
- Follow up on disputed invoices and work toward resolution
- Enter job details and invoicing notes into the system
- Organize invoices and job sheets for posting
- Maintain service levels during staff absences
- Resolve customer queries promptly
You will need to demonstrate:
- Experience of Invoicing Systems/Job Costing
- Ability to manage workload
- Intermediate Excel knowledge
- Ability to delegate effectively
- Proven ability to take the lead with all aspects of client/subcontractor queries/escalating issues
