This exciting opportunity is right at the heart of our plant development intentions. We need an eager and motivated leadership development professional who will be a key member of the newly forming People Transformation Team within the Site strategy and Transformation department. The role will provide project lead support on leadership development interventions to support the strategic direction of the plant in terms of building a people orientated culture in Solihull. This includes (not exhaustively) leadership development strategy co-definition, planning and coordination of development activities for Solihull leaders across the site and all leadership levels, stakeholders’ management at different levels (plant, global team, external providers), and other related activities.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Your key accountabilities and responsibilities include:
- Understand the broader context of the cultural transformation JLR are on and develop an aligned leadership development approach for Solihull
- Contribute to the definition of the strategy for the development of a people orientated culture in Solihull
- Project management: work in partnership to design and develop new learning programmes for leaders across all leadership levels and materials either directly, or through third parties (within JLR or outside of JLR)
- Coordinate the run and redesign some of the ongoing interventions for Solihull leaders (e.g. Group Leader Academy, Production Leader Academy, their equivalent for Maintenance, Group leaders development, Production leaders development, etc.).

- Ability to multi-task and balance delivery of conceptual work with attention to detail and hands on delivery
- Customer focused – ability to determine service requirements and performance measures
- Expertise and experience in supporting large scale projects shown through evidence of working on new or innovative practices/processes
