It Administrator / Support Engineer

Company: Logistics Automation.

Title: IT Administrator / Support.

My client is a global provider of automation in logistics and has worldwide presence across all continents. I am recruiting for an IT/Computer Science qualified engineers to join the growing team. You will be required to work in-house at the UK's HQ in Stoke-on-Trent.

- 3 shift system - Earlies, Day and Nights.

Roles and responsibilities (not limited to):

- Provide technical support for servers.

- Provide 2nd level support and resolve issues in servers, storage and network.

- Deal and resolve problems with third party vendors (Microsoft, HPE, vmware).

- Exhibit good customer support, communication and build rapport, internally and externally.

You should have:

- Relevant education background in an IT related stream (Computer science, Information technology.

- 2 years of experience in productive systems with Windows server, hardware environment in a 24/7 operation.

- Good understanding of Windows OS, virtualization, storage infrastructure and backup solutions.

- Demonstrated experience in ADS, DNS, DHCP and GPM (Group Policy Management).

- Basic knowledge of SQL, joins, ORACLE preferred.

- Benefit if you have programming ability.

- Experience working at server/storage data-centre/comms-room level not desktop level
