As IT Apprentice, you will be required to:
Carry out tasks and support colleagues across the IT and Business Improvement team who are responsible for, including IT support, management of the IT infrastructure, cyber security, technical project management, legal software support, management information and reporting and business process improvement.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide day to day IT 1st line technical support to support legal colleagues via a remote Service desk (ticketing system)
- Provide support in our regional offices for all the local IT hardware platforms to include telephony, laptops, desktops and printers
- Provide assistance set-up for events and meetings including functionality of digital displays, video conferencing and screen sharing
- Provide admin support for the maintenance and upkeep of our internal IT systems to ensure they remain compliant and secure
- Learn our case management system in order to provide 1st line application support to our users
carry out systems configuration and development of the case management systems and/or other legal systems to continually improve the functionality of our systems - Carry out data analysis/extraction tasks to help with finding and solving problems as part of our business improvement initiatives
- Ensure confidentiality and adherence to data protection
- From time to time, as and when required, the ability to travel and work from different business locations
- From time to time help with office fit outs and moves, including lifting and shifting of IT equipment, furniture and peripherals

Entry requirements:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
