Founded in 2007, datamills works in partnership with clients providing IT support to local businesses and charities, their mission being to help business owners focus on their organisations, leaving datamills to focus on running their IT services.
This role will involve working closely with the current team to support from an administrative perspective but also with Andrew, MD, to further develop the cyber security side of the business.
We see this role as being responsible for ensuring that the process is followed from start to finish.
Because of this being a new role, no two days will be the same, and the person coming into the role will very much be able to help shape what success in this role looks like.
Saying that, we do know that initially, a typical week could involve:
- Liaising with existing clients to arrange meetings, ensure rooms and relevant stakeholders are invited and ready, review the client’s current systems, preparing renewal paperwork and supporting the client with simple installs and user access queries. This is not a technical support role and any tickets logged that require advanced support will be handled by the Technicians
- Creating client facing materials such as training materials on Powerpoint and any other materials that would ensure an enhanced customer experience
- Working closely with Andrew to create social media content, update website and get involved with other marketing and events such as networking to promote the Cyber business
- Managing each enquiry for the cyber security side of the business from initial enquiry to delivery of product, including client training
