Responsibilities within your new role
The role entails delivering intelligent remote hands for customers within specified SLA agreements. It involves deploying customer solutions, managing racks and related equipment, and providing expert cabling support. The position includes efficiently handling incoming communication channels, actively updating customers, and resolving service issues. The role also encompasses liaising with third-party suppliers, managing site access, troubleshooting hardware faults, and overseeing equipment installation and decommissioning.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
As the IT Data Centre Support Engineer, possessing a valid driver's license is imperative. Furthermore, a genuine enthusiasm and keen interest in Data Centres and IT Hardware are essential attributes. The role demands a solid knowledge and comprehension of hardware, encompassing builds, swap-outs, desktops, servers, and proficiency in data and power cabling, as well as familiarity with rack systems.
