Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced IT Field Engineer to work with a Lincolnshire-based NHS agency on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week (8am – 4pm, Mon – Fri).
This role is offers hybrid working, involving working in an office as well as across multiple locations around Lincolnshire as you will be deploying laptops across Lincolnshire on behalf of Lincolnshire Community Health Services. Applicants must hold a full driving licence with access to their own vehicle.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technical individual to join a dynamic and customer service driven Project Delivery team.
Main Duties:
- Contribute to meet project projections and client expectations.
- To develop an in-depth knowledge of all local and national IT systems, hardware and software and telephony systems.
- To provide and receive complex or sensitive information and escalations from junior colleagues as part of this role, using technical abilities to ensure issues are resolved quickly or escalated to the appropriate team or specialist.
- This role will be continually making decisions about technical escalations, reacting to emerging technical situations and dealing with IT issues.
- You will manage and participate in the support of IT systems and projects having a detailed knowledge of systems and infrastructure.
Essential Criteria:
- You will have a degree in a relevant IT subject or equivalent experience.
- Possess a recognised customer service qualification.
- Foundation certificate in ITIL service management or experience working in an ITIL framework.
- Demonstrable experience of working within an IT service desk environment.
- Be customer centric, making sure the customer is always happy with the service and installation completed onsite.
- Possess a calm and friendly disposition and be able to manage difficult situations with all levels of staff.
