IT Infrastructure Engineer - Bishops Stortford - £40K-£45K (Hybrid working)

An IT Infrastructure Engineer with strong working knowledge of Windows Server, experience supporting Azure/on-prem hybrid environments, and good networking knowledge is required to join a leading MSP.

Key Skills required:

• Windows Server 2022/2019
• Office 365 maintenaince and administration (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
• Active Directory/Azure AD
• Familiarity with Azure & VMs
• EndPoint - MDM & MAM
• Group Policy (DNS/DHCP)
• Networking knowledge of VLANs, WAN routing and firewalls (e.g. Cisco)
• Azure & MS 365 certifications (desirable)

As the Infrastructure Engineer, you will playing a crucial role supporting the internal IT infrastructure, upgrading operating environments and providing internal technical support.

• Monitor and report on Windows updates for servers; arrange restarts as needed.
• Verify the application of Windows updates to end-user devices.
• Ensure compliance of all devices in Intune and address any issues.
• Keep internal laptops up to date and ensure new devices are Autopilot ready.
• Backup Infrastructure configurations for switches and relevant hardware in Azure DevOps.
• Maintain SharePoint site with information on upcoming works and application updates.
• Providing software and hardware upgrades as needed.
