IT Project Manager
Our client is a reputable educational organisation who are current seeking an IT Project Manager to support the efficient delivery of IT infrastructure, digital products and services.
Responsibilities include:
- Project management: Project planning, resource allocation and project implementation that is in line with the organisation's standards and policies
- Costs management: Planning and estimating costs, and determining budgets
- Technical management: Analyse, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
- Risk management: Planning for and identifying potential risks, performing qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, and planning risk mitigation strategies
- Stakeholder management: Identifying relevant stakeholders, engaging with them and planning for meeting and exceeding stakeholder expectations through the project lifecycle
- Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
- Responsibility closing all phases of the project including the effective hand-over to the in-life management process
Skills/experience required:
- Professional project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2 foundation or equivalent) or demonstrable equivalent experience in leading or managing projects
- ITIL (Version 3 or later) Foundation Level Qualification [or with training have achieved this qualification within their probation period]?
- Demonstrable experience of IT project management, and more generally change management within a large organisation
- Demonstrable experience of developing and managing strong working relationships with a wide variety of customers
- Experience of managing a team to deliver IT services within a large and diverse organisation?
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to suit the audience and to work with staff at all levels?
- Positive attitude to the application of corporate policies and procedures?
