About Our Client
I am currently working with a global leader in pharmaceuticals.
My client is looking for a IT Project Manager to join their business as they roll out some exciting and innovate projects.
This role is based in Manchester and offers hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office.
Job Description
- Manage IT projects, ensuring you are delivering in scope, on budget and on schedule.
- Support analysis and formalisation of business requirements, define project objectives and scope
- Establish project plans, give guidance to project team members and coordinate assignments.
- Set and track milestones and deliverables
- Identify project risks and issues and propose mitigation actions
- Manage unforeseen situations / delays, realign schedule and expectations as needed.
- Adherence to IT security policies and standards set by the Global IT PMO
- Establish and implement project communication plans, provide status updates to stakeholders
- Assess business impacts of IT projects, organise change management and manage internal and external stakeholders
- Use project management tools to track project performance and progress
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor or Master in Computer or Information Sciences or a related field is an advantage
- English fluency is a MUST; German is nice to have
- Previous experience in Pharma or CDMO is desirable
- Certification in Project Management, preferably PMP from PMI
- Thorough understanding of Project Management processes, principals, strategies, and methods.
- Understanding of validation of GxP-relevant computerised systems
- Experience with waterfall, hybrid and agile delivery approaches
- Additional certification as IT Solution Consultant from SAP, Microsoft, others is an advantage
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialised applications, software, used in the organisation and the industry
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Project Management tools
- Experience in working in a complex international environment
What's on Offer
- Salary range of £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience
