Are you an experienced IT Project Manager with previous experience in the insurance or financial services sector? We're seeking a dynamic individual to join the projects team and lead innovative IT projects in a fast-paced environment.
What you wil be doing:
- Manage end-to-end IT projects, from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against milestones.
- Mitigate risks and resolve issues to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Communicate project status, updates, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- This is IT focussed, but we are looking for someone with some business change and change from a technology unit.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with different methodologies is a plus.
The role will entail 2 days a week in their London office and the other 3 days can be done remotely or from their Manchester office. All travel expenses and any overnight stays would be fully re-imbursed and you can use the train journey to London to catch up on emails or general admin whilst having coffee and breakfast !
