What you'll be doing:
- You will serve as the main point of contact for evaluating the effectiveness of service changes and opportunities, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and driving us towards operational success.
- Before the launch of our services, you will supervise comprehensive service acceptance processes as we're committed to delivering the best quality and ensuring our clients are completely satisfied.
- Immerse yourself in critical metrics, providing guidance on the requisite human resources, procedural enhancements, and technological infrastructure vital to optimally support these metrics, thereby positioning us for unparalleled achievement.
- Pioneer the implementation, assimilation, and enhancement of best practices within our IT operations, catalysing transformative improvements in our organisational methodologies.
- Elevate our service teams to unprecedented levels of efficiency and capacity within our shared service framework, offering strategic recommendations for Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) initiatives.
- Identify latent opportunities for cost optimisation and service enhancement, meticulously scrutinising expenditure to make sure maximal value attainment in our pursuit of excellence.
- Offer dedicated assistance in crafting tailored bids and proposals to meet our clients' needs, staying responsive to their changing requirements.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience as an IT Service Designer in a commercial organisation is important, as it provides invaluable insights into the unique challenges, dynamics, and requirements of operating within a business environment.
- You have ample experience and a strong drive to enhance service delivery through service design. Your strategic planning skills will help us reach new service and component availability heights.
- Your attention to detail and problem-solving abilities make you adept at modelling current and future scenarios. You're skilled at gaining agreement and effectively communicating with domain experts and customers, ensuring our models are accurate and widely accepted.
- In fast-paced settings, you excel at monitoring service component capacity and implementing proactive measures. Your expertise in demand control techniques and managing capacity ensures our operations run smoothly
- You offer valuable insights into change control processes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions. .
- Most importantly, you're a collaborative teammate. You're eager to work with delivery teams, providing support to exceed service acceptance criteria. Together, we'll maintain top-notch quality and reliability in service delivery.

Location: Ability to be based out of any of our offices (Glasgow, Newcastle, York, Blackpool, Newport and Gosport) with some travel to these sites

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
