My customer requires an experienced Deskside Support/1st line Support Engineer to work in a global high-tech environment. You will be required to provide technical and BAU support for their Office in Southampton that engage with all the other technology hubs. Supporting the teams on site in an Microsoft based environment working on various applications and systems that will see you being abreast of current technology and troubleshooting.
Ideally, the 1st Line Support Engineer/Deskside Support Engineer will have experience in the following areas:
- Previous experience in 1st Line Support Engineer/Deskside Support Engineer role
- Windows 10 - Administration and Support
- Office 365 Administration and Support
- Active Directory experience
- Ensure logged jobs are reviewed- knowing also when to escalate to provide the highest level of service
- Fast troubleshooting with customer/end user focus is imperative
- Previous experience working with call logging and ticketing systems
