As an End User Support Engineer at EPAM, you will be on the front lines, ensuring seamless hardware and software operation for our team. Your knack for problem-solving will be put to good use as you deal with various technical issues, supporting end-users and interacting with cross-functional teams.
Beyond day-to-day incident resolution, your role will involve root cause analysis and dishing out proactive strategies for issue prevention. You will be our go-to person for digital workplace services, overseeing endpoint devices, software and office IT Infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support colleagues regarding IT requests/incidents (hardware/software)
- Provide IT training for newcomers related to EPAM Systems infrastructure
- Prepare documentation and reports for processes within the company
- Communicate with external vendors and Global IT teams to resolve problems
- Maintain and update assets inventory
- Communication room maintenance and environment monitoring
- Install and configure computer network hardware and applications
- Taking employees or clients through a series of actions, either face to face or remotely via MS Teams to help set up systems or resolve issues
- Rapidly establish a good working relationship with employees and other professionals promoting good IT practices
REQUIREMENTS
- Computer Science (BSc) or similar university degree
- Building and troubleshooting Linux, Apple and Windows OS
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server management (Active Directory, WSUS, 3rd party antivirus service)
- Basic troubleshooting skills of Win, Apple and Linux OS
- User-friendly attitude willing to help employees solve their daily issues with IT infrastructure
- Good communication skills and problem-solving attitude
- Capable to work in a team in a multi-level organization
- Willing to learn new technologies and respond quickly to new challenges
- Flexibility in working remotely and on-site
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with industry data standards such as those of PPDM, Energistics, PWLS, SEG, OSDU and IOGP
- Business Analysis for E&P application integration, particularly data mapping between data models
- Experience working with E&P professionals such as Geoscientists, Engineers, Landmen and Regulatory Professionals
- Preferred education: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in any field, especially preferred in fields of Data Management, Geology, Geophysics, Reservoir Management, Petroleum Engineering, MIS, or Computer Science
