We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our client's team permanently, you will be working on the client site, for 5 days in the office, Monday to Friday, bringing a real force to the team by being responsible for any user problems or requests and carrying out repairs or fixes and escalate where necessary. The IT Support Engineer will be working closely with a team of engineers, striving to provide professional support, and the IT Support Engineer must have experience with Microsoft technologies including Office 365, Windows, and Active Directory.
Key Responsibilities for the IT Support Engineer:
- Answering telephone and dealing with incidents
- Logging incidents via an advanced ticketing system
- Responding to user problems/requests, carrying out repairs/fixes, and escalating where necessary
- Installing, configuring, and administering operating systems.
- Provide professional support
- Configuring wireless networks and technologies.
Skills Required for the IT Support Engineer:
- Previous experience in an IT Support role, ideally 1st/2nd line
- Previous experience with Microsoft technologies including Windows, Office 365, and Active Directory
- A driving license is required
- Able to work shifts based on a Rota
- Excellent telephone manner
- Friendly customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication, literacy, and organization skills.
