Salary: £25K - £35K per annum, DOE + Bonus
Contract: Full time, permanent

The company has benefitted from sustained growth and as such we are looking to expand our engineering team and we are seeking an office-based IT Support Engineer to join our team.

You will firstly take responsibility for managing and maintaining our internal IT infrastructure which is a mixture of Windows, Linux computers and Chromebooks.

Secondly you will manage and maintain our stock control systems.

This post is only open to UK Nationals who are willing to satisfy Government / MoD security vetting procedures.

As our IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Troubleshooting technical IT issues.
• Setting up, managing and configuring Kaon Windows network
• Setting up, managing and configuring Kaon Linux network
• Setting up, managing and configuring Kaon Chrome book network
• Managing and configuring Kaon Bugzilla based systems
• Managing backup systems
• Patching control and log watching of networks
• Managing and administering Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification
• Maintaining information assurances and security operating instructions and documentation
• Managing systems in respect of Information Assurance
• Assisting in the management and design of new network install for office move
• Registering all incoming customer owned assets within stores register
• Managing all documentation associated with customer owned stores register
• Assisting in the management of incoming parts and materials

Skills / Experience Required:

• Configuration of PCs, screens and printers, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Linux system management and the troubleshooting and configuration of networks.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
• Ability to assess and prioritise work
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organised
• Good communications skills (oral and written)
