It Systems Analyst

A Basildon based company who design and manufacture production line equipment are keen to recruit an IT Systems Analyst to work as part of the IT department supporting 70+ staff and customers using their equipment.
The role will involve providing systems and support for customer operational technology including 2nd line support and assistance with 1st line support.

Duties:

• Research, develop, and implement robust IT systems to support customer operations technology
• Assist with the development and implementation of a SQL database interacting and supporting customers as required
• Support other departments with customer issues and specialised applications
• Maintain specification and configuration records
• Support with protocol testing of customer operational technology and generate procedures to support customers
• Provide 2nd line support responding to support requests
• Assist users with application operations
• Resolve 2nd line support issues and assist with 1st line support issues when required
• Connect with 3rd party service providers
• Ensure routine assignments are completed, maintain asset records, review process performance and generate IT process procedures

Requirements:

• Must have a good knowledge of computer, network components and their functions
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent
• Certification in Microsoft Hyper-V and/or VMWare ESX hypervisors
• Administrative knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 client OS, Microsoft Office applications, Windows servers, active directory, and Microsoft 365 infrastructure
• Must have a good knowledge of hypervisors, virtual storage area networks, and failover clustering
• Experience operating Microsoft Business Central would be beneficial
• Must have advanced fault-finding and problem-solving
• Installationdministration of Windows operating system and applications is essential
• Must be proficient with operating Microsoft Office applications and have good documentation and record-keeping
