Overview
Compass Associates are very excited to be working with a Leading Private Healthcare provider on the search for their ITU Ward Manager at their Brand-New Hospital in Birmingham. This 100 million, purpose built, state-of-the-art multi-speciality hospital will be a new private & NHS partnered hospital, providing high levels of care to patients. The hospital will provide care of all levels of clinical complexity, including cardiology, cancer and complex surgeries.
The ITU Ward Manager will be responsible for high quality and safe delivery of patient care of the Intensive Care services provided by the hospital, as well as directing and developing the team itself.

The Candidate/Position
As the ideal candidate, you will be an experienced ITU Manager or Senior ITU Nurse
Experience at band 6 level/leading a team, although a band 5 with extensive experience may be considered.
You will lead and drive the department, overseeing a team of experience Critical Care Qualified nurses.
You will be passionate about excellent patient safety and delivery of a clinically effective service.
Minimum Requirements
Registered with NMC/HCPC registration
Critical Care Qualified
Advanced Life Support Provider Qualification is desirable
Experience leading a team - NHS band 6 or private sector
A strong understanding of clinical governance, quality and risk in regards to patient safety.
Experience in quality improvement, facilitating and managing change in a department
Salary & Benefits
This position is paying up to 55,000 per annum
One the service us up and running to full capacity, you salary will include a 9% enhancement for working occasional Saturdays.
