The Client

We are currently working on behalf of a rapidly expanding, independent specialist with an impeccable reputation. The company is a specialist regional contractor across the drainage, environmental, rail, telecoms and traffic managements industries. The Role

This is a full-time vacancy employed directly through our client s company and will involve collecting the vehicle, daily from the Abingdon region. Working with the wider team of Drainage Engineers at site, you will be responsible for providing a range of emergency and contracted services to commercial customers.

• Working hours are Mon - Fri 8am - 4.30pm (over time thereafter at time and a half) 40 hours contracted week
• On-call rota is 1 weekend in 5
• Time and a half is paid for Saturday working and double time for Sunday working

Key Responsibilities

The types of work that you will undertake will include operating a Jet Vac Tanker & jetting equipment to respond to emergency blockages and maintenance of various customer sites across Oxfordshire and the surrounding area, delivering a quality service with professionalism and respect.

Jet Vac Operators must ensure vehicles are always ready to go and kept in good working order.

The Requirements

• Must have a HGV 2 Licence and valid CPC
• Experience within the drainage industry, ideally on Jet Vac or within Environmental Services - Waste, Water etc
• Experience of using CCTV and jetting equipment
• HPWJ (high pressure water jetting) ticket advantageous
• Hold a valid CSCS Card
• Full UK driving licence Class 2 with valid CPC Essential
• High Pressure Jetting and CCTV experience
• 2+ years previous experience in a similar role Essential

The Rewards

Our client offers a competitive rate of between GBP17-18 per hour (GBP35,000 - GBP37,500 per annum). A structured approach to training and developing your career with one of the region s premium drainage specialists. Realistic OTE for this role are in the region of GBP45,000 - GBP50,000 per annum.
