Due to the growing workload and a company restructure, they are looking to bring on a Junior Accountant to help manage the workload and grow their career. The role is fully-office based (Monday-Friday), however, flexible working hours are on offer.

Junior Accountant Position Overview
-Prepare financial statements from source documents/records to final accounts
-Preparation of accounting schedules to support the balances and transactions included in the financial statements
-Liase with clients to resolve any queries and obtain any further information
-Prepare control account reconciliations
-Ability to work on a wide range of clients, across various industries
-Ensure a high level service to meet client's expectations
The ideal candidate will be AAT level 3 qualified and have 2-3 years working in an accountancy practice. Suitable candidates will ideally have IRIS software experience.
Junior Accountant Position Requirements
-Minimum Level 3 AAT
-2-3 years experience working in a practice environment
-IRIS software experience (desirable)
-Experience using cloud-based accounting systems (Xero, VT, Quickbooks)
-Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
-Ability to use your initiative to identify problems and provide solutions
-Strong IT skills (word, excel, outlook)
Junior Accountant Position Remuneration
-£24,000-£29,000 (depending on experience)
