Quarter have a fantastic opportunity for a full time Junior Accounts Assistant to join the accounts team in our Clifton-based Head Office.

Our Accounts Team is at the heart of our company ensuring all financial processes run smoothly. They are more than just a numbers team they build relationships with suppliers and with department heads and provide vital reporting that informs decisions and drives our business. Key details for the Junior Accounts Assistant role:

Salary: Package of £25,420 per annum including £1,500 of bonuses (OTE, linked to performance). Agreed overtime is paid at an equivalent hourly rate.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday Friday. There is a little flexibility with the hours of the day worked; 8am 4pm, 9am 5pm and 10am 6pm will all be considered.

During your training period, the role will be based in our offices in Clifton (just behind the Victoria Rooms) for 5 days per week, Monday to Friday. Once training has been completed, this position will be based in our Head Office in Clifton for at least 2 days a week and may work from home for up to three days a week in all weeks except the first week of each month where the requirement is to be in the office for all 5 days (as this is our management accounts week).

What will you be doing as Junior Accounts Assistant?

Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you will be:

  • Using Microsoft Excel to put together batch headers of purchase invoices for manager sign off
  • Downloading invoices, saving out as PDF files in relevant folders
  • Sending remittances to suppliers via email
  • Checking supplier statements to ensure that all invoices have been received and processed following up where necessary
  • Working with the team to ensure payment runs are sent correctly and on time
  • Responding to colleague and supplier queries via phone and email
  • Maintaining discretion and confidentiality as required

Who are we looking for in a Junior Accounts Assistant?

  • Have excellent organisational skills ensuring your time is organised to meet the required deadlines
  • Have the ability to work on tasks independently and as part of a small team
  • Be a team player happy to adapt your tasks to help out as needed on occasion
  • Be fun and personable in nature we take our work seriously but also have fun!


Candidates must be able to learn fast and must have strong numerate skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is highly desirable but not essential as long as you can demonstrate aptitude and the ability to learn. Accounts experience is preferable, but not required.
