The role reports to the Procurement Manager and the key duties will include:

• Responsible for the day to day purchasing tasks such as liaising with suppliers on delivery dates, prices and availability
• Supporting the site teams
• Issuing purchase orders and expedition of materials
• Benchmarking, Scorecards, and supplier performances
• Dealing with invoice queries
• Supporting the tendering and procurement functions
• Researching suppliers

Qualifications

• Procurement & Purchasing Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
• Procurement: 1 year (preferred)
• Purchasing: 1 year (preferred)

Experience

• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Flexible 'can do' approach
• Confident in the use of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
