Job Description
- Managing procurement processes and efficiently handling the supply chain operations.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Ensuring timely delivery of life science products to meet client requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records of purchases and pricing.
- Conducting market research to identify new potential suppliers.
- Evaluating bids and proposals from potential suppliers.
- Resolving supplier-related issues as they arise.
- Contributing to the implementation of new purchasing strategies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Junior Buyer should have:
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
- An understanding of the Life Science industry.
- Strong negotiating skills and an eye for detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
