Role:Junior Buyer

Location: Our new Head Office in Bedfordshire, covering neighbouring patch

Summary: Support the procurement team and sites daily reporting to a senior member of the Company procurement team

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Raising orders to the supply chain to ensure sites needs are met
• Daily communication with the supply chain to ensure timely delivery of materials and plant
• Assist in preparation of reporting to the wider business
• Assist with invoice queries
• Comply with company and departmental procedures and deadlines
• Build and maintain positive relationships with supply chain partners and site
• Resolving issues that may arise during the procurement process
• Obtaining Quotes

Essential Competence and Training:

• Strong Communication skills written and verbal
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
• Ability to identify issues and trouble shoot problems
• Experience in Excel
• Organisation skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload in a fast paced environment
• Can demonstrate a clear understanding and ability to adhere to company procedures and deadlines
