Description
- Identifying and sourcing new Apparel products and suppliers
- Negotiating contracts and prices with suppliers
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity
- Collaborating with the design team to develop new product ranges
- Managing relationships with existing suppliers
- Ensuring all products meet quality and ethical standards
- Planning and selecting product ranges in line with seasonal and customer demands
- Working collaboratively with other departments to achieve company goals
Profile
A successful Junior Buyer should have:
- A degree in Business, Retail or a related field
- Experience in a retail buying role, preferably within the Apparel industry
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness
- A keen interest in Apparel and fashion trends
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- A proactive approach to identifying new opportunities
