Form of workWE are working with a leading Metal Trading Company dedicated to providing innovative solutions in the commodities market. As our client continues to expand their operations, they are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our their team as a Junior Commodity Operator.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior Commodity Operators in executing trades and managing commodity transactions.
- Handle letters of credit and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
- Coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of commodities to clients.
- Monitor market trends and analyze data to support trading decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize trading strategies and enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen interest in the commodities market.
- Experience with letters of credit and knowledge of logistics procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Prior experience in commodities trading or related field is a plus but not required.
