Job description - Junior Editor
Working closely with the Editorial Director, the Editor is responsible for managing content projects and ensuring that the agency is producing high-quality copy for articles, press releases, comments and more.
This role will require a combination of writing, editing and working with the team (internally, as well as freelancers) to consistently deliver content that is creative, engaging, timely, and aligned with their clients’ needs!
Job responsibilities - Junior Editor
Writing content for the company and its clients
- Work with the Editorial Director to draft press releases, reactive comments, social media
- Produce long-form content such as thought leadership articles and white papers for clients
- Understand the benefits and risks of using AI tools like ChatGPT to create written content
- Review, edit and revise content produced by the team, including press releases, reactive
Manage the editorial elements of various projects
- Work closely with stable of freelance writers to build and maintain positive
- Identify, brief and commission relevant copywriters as needed, and ensure copy is delivered
Business development
- Attend client pitches and/or kick-off meetings to understand clients’ key messages and tone

- A degree from university
- Proven editor/copywriting or journalism experience preferred- internship is fine!
- A genuine interest and desire to work in the corporate/B2B PR space
- A proven interest in writing creative copy
- Creative streak - you can think outside the box and bring great ideas to the table
- High attention to detail, including spelling and grammar
- Commercial awareness - you’ll need to be business-savvy and preferably come with previous experience in an office environment
