YOUR ROLE

As a Junior Hybrid Editor, you will harness your burgeoning artistic and technical skills to shape engaging narratives across a variety of media. With industry and client-facing experience, you are poised to handle commercial spots, brand videos, online content, and more. This role will give you exposure to both traditional editing and motion graphics.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the creative process across all projects, contributing to post-production under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to produce visually engaging stories, respecting deadlines.
  • Work within client brand guidelines and contribute to the creation of new campaigns.
  • Assist in transforming scripts into visual stories for various platforms.
  • Prioritize effectively across concurrent projects with direction from senior staff.
  • Provide invaluable creative input on all projects and throughout the post-production process.
  • Demonstrate the technical and creative vision to collaborate with project teams, as well as work independently to achieve:
  • The best possible results
  • Be innovative while adhering to client brand guidelines – and when creating new campaigns.
  • Execute compression and scratch-track audio recording as needed.
  • Improve working knowledge of other related post-production software.
  • Maintain quality control to ensure that all work meets the highest possible standards.
  • Vigilantly seek to optimise the group resources (both equipment and personnel)
  • Foster a positive team atmosphere and establish credibility, both internally and externally
  • Able to set priorities while handling multiple projects.
  • Continuously explore cutting-edge, current, and unique production processes/procedures.

MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENT

  • Premiere Pro skills (After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator skills that complement editing and motion graphics, this would be advantageous)
  • An editing reel showing branded content type work from a similar production advertising agency
  • Short form content experience
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • Must be detail oriented, work to tight deadlines, manage video project assets and have good communication skills
  • Good time management and multitasking skills
  • A problem-solving mindset with a readiness to learn from complex challenges
  • Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
