Job Description
The key responsibilities of this Junior Finance Assistant role will be:
- Support the processing of invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records using accounting software, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
- Contribute to the preparation of basic financial reports and statements, participating in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Work closely with the finance team to provide support in various financial tasks, and communicate effectively with internal departments for information gathering.
- Ensure compliance with established financial policies and procedures, actively contributing to process improvements.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Junior Finance Assistant candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field, or experience in a similar accountancy position
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
