SalaryThis position primarily involves supporting the financial management of a large division within our company. Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager and key operational managers, you will be directly responsible for preparing key financial statements and conducting business profitability analyses for review by the Senior Finance Manager. The role also includes external and customer-facing interactions. Additionally, you may be required to perform other duties as reasonably requested by Senior Management.
Role and Responsibilities:
Report directly to the Senior Finance Manager.
Ensure end-of-month reporting deadlines are met according to catering requirements.
Prepare Profit and Loss statements for review by the Senior Finance Manager.
Review Balance Sheets to identify account anomalies and take necessary actions to resolve them.
Provide weekly and monthly variance analysis and commentary on significant deviations from the budget and previous months' actuals.
Prepare weekly and monthly financial summary reports for management and customers.
Post month-end accounting journals.
Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
Support the annual statutory audit process.
Perform monthly and ad-hoc reporting.
Attend and participate in audits at various units.
Help implement changes in the department's functions as required by business needs.
Ideal Candidate:
Part-qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA
1 to 2 years of experience in business analysis or financial management
Exceptional communication abilities
Strong technical accounting expertise
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
Strong problem-solving capabilities
Excellent interpersonal skills with an analytical and methodical approach
