Our client is a start-up, on a mission to build a new wealth management company, created to meet the needs of the next generation of wealth.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Establish and build strong relationships with clients
- Accompany the Financial Advisor to client meetings, prepare meeting notes and conduct research required to deliver advice and reviews for RFP clients
- Discuss client objectives with the relevant Advisers
- Be the first point of contact for any data or issues that may need clarifying
- Identify and discuss areas of financial planning and prepare information for the Advisers
- Liaise with clients’ accountants, legal and tax advisers and other third parties in relation to client requirements and holdings
- Ensure that all recommendations and reports meet legal and regulatory requirements
- Comply with the Financial Services Acts, the FCA Statements of Principles & Code of Practice, the FCA Conduct Rules and the relevant FCA rules at all times
The skills you need to bring:
- Strong understanding of products and financial services
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in areas such as platforms, Pensions, Investments and Protection
- Excellent report writing
- Time management, with an ability to meet tight deadlines
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and produce a high quality of work
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Advanced MS office – particularly Excel
- RO1-6 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent - desirable
