Job Title: Junior HR Administrator
Duration: December 2024
Location: London


My high-profile banking client are recruiting for a Junior HR administrator. The role is a Hybrid role which will require the candidate to work on site 2 days a week and 3 days from home, working normal office hours.


Purpose of Job
* To undertake administrative processes and transactions that support the delivery of HR's services to employees, managers, and the business
* To pro-actively respond to employees and managers queries and requests regarding the HR's services
Responsibilities
* The role will typically have the following accountabilities and responsibilities, but is not an exhaustive list of duties: -
* On-boarding and Off-boarding employees.
* Responding accurately in line with SLAs to employee and managers requests.
* Employee life cycle changes such as people moving roles, promotions, salary increases.
* Preparing references.
* Background Screening audits.
* Maintaining employee records and files.
* Processing HR's invoices.
* HR analytics and reporting.
* Undertaking appropriate controls to ensure the quality and accuracy / data integrity.
* Supporting projects to continually improve the service.
* Supporting ad hoc HR projects.
* Being a strong and reliable team member who supports others achieve the Departments goals and objectives.
Knowledge and Skills
* Strong customer service focus
* Strong interpersonal empathetic and listening skills
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with peers and managers
* Can be versatile, adaptable as the situation dictates; to deal positively with ambiguity
* Good eye for and attention to detail
* Ability to think creatively and be innovative in solutions that are delivered
* Numerate, logical, organised, flexible and creative approach to problem solving
* Degree level education or equivalent professional qualifications is desirable
* High level of IT literacy in particular Excel
* While committing to the team objectives, demonstrate personal accountability for delivery of personal actions
* Demonstrable ambition and clear desire to contribute to both personal and Bank's growth & development.
* Acts with highest standards of integrity and fairness to colleagues and clients
