This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior/Graduate Design Engineer, looking to join an established company, where you will be contributing to the whole design process, from cradle to grave!
Do you have Design or Mechanical Engineering experience or qualifications? Are you looking to begin or develop your design career?

The company specialise the design and manufacture of lifting equipment, products, supplying to a range of industries. They are a family run business, with a close-knit, multi-skilled team, who are now looking to bring in a Design Engineer to cope with increasing demands.
You will be working alongside management and workshop staff, contributing to the whole design process, including arranging 2D and 3D drawings, 3D modelling, contributing to site surveying and also liaising with supply chain.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of SolidWorks and AutoCad software, a good mechanical background, excellent communication skills and a desire to learn and progress within a design role. This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door and develop your career with a close-knit team in an excellent company.
The Role:
*2D and 3D design using SolidWorks software
*Attending site surveys with the team
*Liaising with the sales and workshop staff
*Office based, Monday to Friday, with occasional site visits
The Person:
*Mechanical Design Engineer, Design Engineer, CAD Engineer
*Experience using SolidWorks or similar packages
*Good mechanical background
*Based locally to Northampton
