An opportunity has arisen for an individual to provide administrative support to the Prevention Department, based at Eastbourne Fire Station, in order to arrange home safety visits by dedicated teams and operational crews. This work contributes to the delivery of the Departments Thematic Plans /Annual Assessment of Risk.
This role entails large volume telephone enquiries to highly vulnerable members of the public, liaising with colleagues/Station personnel and entering data accurately onto electronic systems.
You will possess excellent attention to detail and communication skills, with empathy to those whom we are offering services to. You will also have the ability to work unsupervised and prioritise your workload to tight deadlines. Previous experience of electronic data entry and working in an administrative role in an office environment will be advantageous.
Full training in all aspects of the role will be provided.
